Pre-delivery set up and inspection should have caught that issue. The bike is a great one, so don't give up on it. A belly full of bad gas sounds like it came from the dealer that way. To be safe, never run with anything less than premium grade of a large fuel mfg. like Shell or BP. Sounds like somebodiy is trying to get out of fixing the bike under warranty.
