sure does sound like clutch slippage. general rule of thumb, look for about a dimes worth of freeplay at the clutch lever. if you have that, and the clutch engages about where it should at the lever, you may have to look into the clutch itself, or maybe the springs are weak
unless you recently changed to a different oil, that the clutch doesnt like
