The 140 is the go it is actually the proper size for the rim the 130 sits flatter looking from the back the 140 is rounder and acts as a better hinge.
Tyre life is more dependant on the way the tyre is treated ie pressure, corner speed/braking accelleration etc and rtoad surface.
