I have a Chase Harper. Mine has a removable map pocket (most are). Magnetic. With a magnetic I would strongly urge that you use the leash strap that mounts over/around your risers/handlebar. Mine is a 'multi-mount', meaning you can go with straps and/or magnetic. I find that it takes the air off of the lower chest (usually a plus).

My only other suggestion is that you insure that when full (bring along a couple of sweaters and small towels) to verify that the bag can't get too wide and cause the starter/horn buttons to get pushed when you turn your handle bars full lock. The only time anyone will ever hear your stock horn and look.
