Yes, K&Q is ugly and comfortable for two-up, and that's when I use it. My passengers like it. I prefer the stock seat for solo because I can move my butt back and forth a bit, and it's breaking in nicely now, at 5000 miles. I don't do trips of more than a couple hundred miles in a day, so I can't comment on "long trips".

I have the fly screen and I get plenty of wind blast with it, or in spite of it. I got it because it gives the front of the bike a nice finished look, not for aerodynamic considerations. I'm almost 6 feet tall, with long legs.

The wind blast discourages me from going more than 80mph most of the time, which is fine with me. I borrow a Honda VFR800 Interceptor when I want to go fast--it feels more secure at high speeds.
