Stockport (NW England) to Le Cap-d'Agde (south coast of France) clocked 962 miles in a time of 23 hours 55 minutes.
This including the ferry crossing over the English channel and a 2 hour sleep on a grass verge just outside Paris.
This was on a '77 T140V 750cc Triumph Bonneville.
