Hi and welcome.

I played around with many screen/bar combinations. Larger screens can cause turbulence around the head at higher speed which can get really annoying and because they are bar-mounted can also affect handling, particularly in cross-winds.

Fly screens are pretty ineffective below 60mph but they relieve the pressure on the arms at higher speeds, however they work best if you use lower bars and a slightly more lean-forward attitude - I found the combination of Dart flyscreen and Mototwin Sports Tourer Bars (which are more like classic 60's UK Spec bars) works well both for around-town and long-distance touring.

The flat seats were also originally designed (back in the 60's that is) to work with lower bars, and, by leaning forward, a little more of your weight is carried on the tops of the legs and less on your cocyx.

K&Q is comfortable for two-up.

Cheers
