I had over a half tank of gas when I took my tank off to remove the AI last weekend. We're only talking about a teaspoon of gas coming out of the line once you disconnect from the petcock. Not enough to worry about. Once you see how easy it is to get the tank off, you will marvel at the simplicity of the engineering. A well designed bike.
