Anyone see this last night?
Tested(?) BMW 1200Gs, Tiger, Caponord, V Strom and Multistrada (why?). IMO they had decided that the BMW was the best before any testing had occurred.
None of these bikes is suitable for off road riding. So... lets do some of the testing in a quarry.
Dismissed the V Strom out of hand, same with the Capo. Fawned over the Duke, because it was a fun bike. Grudgingly praised the Tiger but noted that the engine sounded like it was going to explode.
Tiger practicality/value for money score was laughable. The only one that comes with panniers, centre stand and heated grips. Add the price of that lot to the others and look again at VFM.
Like they say, 'why settle for medicrity, demand complete incompetence'.
