I have been watching a DVD set of 11'th Hour, a British made for TV series staring Patrick Stewart, as I am a big Patrick Stewart fan. It could have been a decent show if not for the "important messages" that began popping up as the episodes progressed.

The Patrick's character is a government scientists sent out to investigate man-made catastrophes like virus out-breaks and such. Later the episodes turn to global warming and creation of Uranium by the government (so they can plant evidence on the next Middle Eastern country they wish to attack).

All that aside, I was shocked by the anti-America propaganda that was in it. The phrase "The Americans" sounded like dirty, distasteful words coming out of ole Patrick's mouth as he explained with scientific authority how we (USA) destroyed the planet, lied to the U.N. etc.

I realize that there are many in the UK that don't like how we do things, but it certainly is sobering to actually see British producer's doing their best to slip in messages to support their obvious dislike of the U.S. and even their own government.

I was wondering if this is a common practice or did I just happen upon a rare occurrence.
