Triumph had a huge fire in one of their plants in March 2002. Bad things happened and they had to retool a lot of stuff. I think the TT600 was specifically affected iirc. Like B02S4 says, this bike is probably pre-fire. only way to know for sure is to get the build date off the sticker on the head.
