Are you talking about disengageing the clutch before start up? If so, I have a few tips. Let us know. I've found 1000 rpm at idle when warm is just right. I've idled it at 750 rpm, but drops off. Sounds good tho. Being I seem to like fiddling with carbs. I've invested in some mercury sticks and tuned them and forgot them. A good mechanic reminded me that different barometric pressures and humidities can make a bike run alittle different from one day to the next.

I can not disengage the clutch and crank my bike. I have to put it in neutral to kick my bike over....is this wrong? I don't know any different. My bike seems to run pretty good with the idle set at around 1K RPM, I guess I will leave it there until it starts stalling again!. Off that note, I am trying to figure out why my clutch lever takes an unbelievable amount of pressure to disengage the clutch. I really think the 3 clutch springs are either to strong or to tight....does this sound right?
