This may have been posted before, but can anyone help. Today during a long ride my bonnie just died on me, I thought it may have been dirty fuel and someone suggested opening the fuel cap, where I was able to start the bike, but continually thought the journey I had to slacken the fuel cap to let air in.

I would say there was an obvious fault with either the breather valve or pipe routing. Is there an easy option to overcome this problem?

Many thanks
Taffy
