I can only answer one of your questions as I'm an '04 man myself.
Your dealer can look up your Vin number on his computer and tell you exactly what recalls are done or what is required now.
One guy here just posted in the UK you can now look up fro recalls yourself on Triumph's UK site. So I imagine that may be available soon in other parts of the world also.
Recalls should always be at Triumph's expense me thinks.
I'll let the locals with your to be model bring you up to speed on the other stuff.
This is a friendly bunch and there are a lot of guys here with much knowledge about these bikes.
