I'm new to this forum so please excuse if my questions have been posted by others in the past.
I'm planning on buying a 2006 Sprint ST ABS and wanted to get advice from you guys.
1. Price: Dealer posting $2,000 off so sticker price is $9899.
But of course there's those extra fees, freight $495 plus
license and doc. fees. Total cost is $11,254 out the door.
Is this price reasonable? What is a fair price?
2. I want to make sure I get the 2006 with the revised heat
shield and improved saddle bags. How can I be sure?
3. The dealer is telling me the "free" saddlebag promotion
runs out end of 2006. True or dealer pressure tactic?
4. Are there any manufac. recalls and if so should the dealer
take care of them?
BTW. Test road the Sprint & Ducati ST-3 back to back today. No comparison on engine or overall quality. Duc was more flickable but very rickety and cheap feeling.
