Hi guys thanks for all the info Did carbs clean out, set float levels.they were out ,Air filter dirty, Shims tight, Went for run avg speed 120kmh,2up head wind on the flat some hills not many got 45 to the gallon big difference,At wat mileage should you need to do the shims most jap bikes are aprox 20,000km ,First time working on a british bike apart from the air filter , these bike motose are good to work on , Carnt wait to do a cam chain they look so easy, you dont have to split the chain ,& the gides can be done with out having to take the head of , this has to be a good thing,Sorry guys getting carried away might go have a cold shower HAHA,Wat milage do the cam chains need replaced if at all,Cheers DJLNZ
