Sounds like you have the thing licked with the R6 top yoke

But is there any possibility you could also just drill the OEM (or aftermarket billet like Vortex) R1 top triple to take a set of risers? I was running my conversion temporarily initially with the OEM GSXR top triple similarly drilled to mount my stock Triumph risers & bars. (see below)
The only handicap was I couldn't mount the ignition or instruments but was quite ridable like that.
