Marcus20VT, Try to find 3M Swirl Mark Remover. I use the formula for dark/black (PN 051131) on the red bike. There are other formulas and then rewax.
Nick, You're right about the plastic. The RC51 (metal tank) shows scratchs much more easily on it's plastic pieces. This seems to be the way most of the m/c manufacturers are going tho' .
