Dunno Cheap, you'll have to figure it out, but I tend to ride conservatively most of the time, well, below 8,000 rpm anyways :wink:

too bad some car and truck engines can't last that long
They only don't last because they're not looked after. I have a 1995 Jeep Cherokee Sport with 210,000kms 210000 (130494 Miles) and the engine is just starting to get a bit noisy in the valve train. Still pulls like a mule and burns less than a pint of oil every 5,000km.

Nothing wrong with being fastidious with services if you intend to keep whatever machinery you have. Mr Speed is a keeper, so I expect I'll get to 200,000km some day and let you know how it fares.
