Remove and invert the carbs.
Remove the float chamber cover.
Measure from the gasket surface to the highest point of the float. Triumph specs state 17mm +/- 1mm.
Be sure not to depress the pintle, the float tang should rest on it but not depress the plunger.
(you'll understand when you look at it)
Adjust very carefully by bending the tang of the float.

Let me know if you want the scanned instructions out of the Triumph manual. I'll post them if you'd like.
