I gotta ask, because i am really looking hard at my next bike purchase. is there any reason to own this bike, other than your personal ego?
Getting lots of looks is nice....but did you buy the bike for you , or your ego?
I'm not really reading any concise reviews. These are way too subjective about how pretty it is. People are saying they bought the bike without knowing anything about it. If that is the case, lemme show you this steal of a deal on my old suzuki(ridden gently  )
When i cut through the fanboyism, this is what i'm seeing. Am i right or wrong here?

You're kind of missing the point on the bike, friend. This bike was never designed to be a performance king, or a comfort ride, or even really for the ego (though I'll admit it does stroke it very nicely.) This bike is about owning heritage without the hassle of vintage.
Frankly, I'm not a sport bike rider who needs the cutting edge performance -- usually I only ride my thrux @ 6/10 anyways. I usually take long trips (to the adirondacks, that kind of thing) in my 4runner. But for the after work 1-2hour release-ride, none of the bikes in my garage do it better than the thrux. It feels like stepping back in time, and paying homage.
