I'm pretty sure I have the same can on my 2000 Daytona. It's the low mount carbon race can. I chose the low can so that I could still carry a soft set of luggage once o twice a year for the longer trips.

The baffles are opened up a little, and you'll get a little louder/lower growl than stock. It's no barker like the high can, since it's quite a bit longer, and therefore has a larger sound baffle.

Since it's less restrictive than stock, you will need to have your fuel injection re-mapped. An easy task, takes just a few minutes at the dealership.

If you want to be sure, look at the underside of the pipe, near where it connects to the headers, it should say "NOT FOR ROAD USE" , or somthing to that efftect. It also rambles on about some EPA restrictions, blah, blah, blah.
