Kneedown.... the vagueness of the manual was what sorta prompted my question also. I was originally thinking the same as you were, but not 100% positive. But, 35-40 mm is, what, about an inch and a half or so? I was thinking that might be too tight for TOTAL up AND down movement, considering from hearing that the single sided swingarm is better a little loose. Regardless, I have yet to adjust mine! :-D I too have been looking for the "answer" :???:
