thanks for the info and advice.
i have heard of peoples tanks getting a 'swirl' effect when the cover rubs the dust etc that is trapped between the cover and tank.
jurys still out on this one. its alot of £££ to spend on paint work protection if it ends up as bad or worse than than without. :???:
