The Austin RAT group will be riding to Texas World Speedway for the CMRA season finale roadracing. We are meeting at the Manor 290 Cafe at 9:00am, Sunday October 8th. Sidestands up at 9:30am.
There will be a couple of us there at 8:30 for breakfast. Come out earlier if you can.
I thought it was a rumor, but this is from someone who was at TWS today.
And they say the cost is $5 on a mc. I thought thats what I'd paid last time out.

From perusing all the rumors Spies will have his FX bike sprinting on Sunday to try for the TWS lap record. The Dunlop guy is denying any special tires, says he'll be running on the same slicks anyone can buy.

If you have the chance to make it out there, i highly recommend it! This was the first race event i have attended at TWS...I went out there today from 9am til about 3:30, and it was a blast. I got to meet Kevin Schwantz (!) and saw Schwantz, Ben Spies and John Haner tearing it up on their GSXR 1k. Talk about an endurance dream team! Its 5 bucks at the gate if you're on your bike, and $10 or $15 if you come in a cage. Spies confirmed that he is racing in the sprints tomorrow, so that should be really exciting!
