There is an allen head bolt holding each baffle in. Remove the bolt, slide out the baffle. there is a piece of wire holding the packing on to the baffle. Remove the wire and the packing comes right off. When reinserting the baffles without the packing it is a little trickier to get them at the right spot, I used a broom handle inserted into the baffle to help guide the baffle back into place. It took me about 10 minutes total to do this.

I also rode around the block without the baffles. I did find that to be too loud. but with baffles in and no packing it's perfect for me.
