Stu - that could be your problem. When I reinstall the stock exhausts on the W650 or T100, I never tighten them immediately back to their specified torque. Instead, I tighten things (clamps, mounts) slightly, just enough to snug them up, and either rev the engine in neutral a few times, or take the bike up and down the street thru the gears. I find this allows the mufflers and mounts to find their normal resting position. Then I finish tightening them to their specified torque. I've eliminated some strange vibes by doing this.
