I had the same issues with contacts, watering & streaks of salt on the sides of my face. I have the JP-2 model. With the gasket and headband installed, they are perfect and I can't imagine anything working better (I have prescription ones, so that is without contacts).

The only issue I have with them is when it rains. The cloth gaskets soak up the rain, then keep the lenses fogged up on the inside. I use anti-fog treatment on them and it doesn't seem to make a difference. This probably won't be an issue if you'll be wearing them behind a face shield.

Another thing that might be an issue is the thickness of them if worn under a helmet. I have a hard time squeezing anything but thin metal arms into mine.
