The most recent time, we had picked up my daughter from a friends house and she was talking about being scared of the police. So my wife and I were explaining how police officers are nice and take care of people and help people when they are hurt or need help.
So.. we're having this conversation in a 45 MPH area, and I'm not paying attention to my speed.. A 55 MPH is coming up pretty quick.
I'm already doing just over 55 MPH.. and, you guessed it, the nice policeman was waiting.
The first thing out of my mouth was "See, the nice policeman is going to give Daddy a ticket because he wasn't paying attention to his speed..." :brk:
