Why? its easier to just to look at the site glass. No unscrewing or wiping and re-screwing, and unscrewing again. Unless you just like to screw and like wiping a slippery stick. :razz:

On my previous bike you could check the oil in the morning with the dipstick while standing over the bike holding it upright. I think this would be easier than throwing it up on the centerstand whenever I want to check it.
