I decided to take the bike in this morning since the temps were higher than last week. Some fyi....2002 RS, 42k miles, took it riding this Sunday with no problems.
I get on the on-ramp, rev through 1st, 2nd, and 3rd...maybe 4th too? I rev'ed 1st and 2nd pretty high. I'm going through a tunnel, shift and then notice a red light come on and no power. So it stalls on me going 50 - 60mph in a tunnel. I didn't restart it, but coasted off to the side once I was out of the tunnel.
I start her up, idle's fine....then rev her up and she instantly dies. Try again and same result. Luckly I'm 3min from home and go back. Before I park I try again, this time it dies only at higher rev's....8k (?)...around 11 or 12 o'clock (I forget the rpm's :hammer: ).
Is there anything obvious that I should look for? This is the first time this has happened since I got her a few months ago.
And to top it off I was behind a biker on the way to work and got a nice stone thrown at my window :-D
