Im still puzzled by this apparent problem???

I have tried and tried to recreate the conditions you all describe. I have not found anything like it yet? Not to say of course that it does'nt exist.

In that low rev range you are talking about, what gears is this happening or is it all gears?

Is it when you have throttled off and gone back on the gas? or is it at a steady throttle setting?

Have any of you tried riding in the same conditions but in one gear lower i.e. 4th instead of 5th at 30 mph etc could it be that the engine is labouring in too high a gear ?(don't want that to sound patronising, i'm just scratching for ideas)

The only time i suffered any real kicking in the past was when i was at low speed and opening the throttle. I traced this to a knackered cush drive inside the rear hub. It had worn and created a gap between the fins inside the hub, making it snatch when the power was applied.

But this is unlikely with such new bikes surely?.

Keep us posted please with your findings

Cheers
