That was a quote from a 1200 owner.
Pay your money and take your chance. Look at the GS UK owners board and there are so many horror stories with the 1200. You simply do not find those stories on other sites I have looked at for other marques. Honda, Triumph, whatever. Also with the New Tiger round the corner I am sure you will get a good deal on the 'last'of the '06' Tigers, and look what you get for your money, Heated grips, center stand, luggage. I recently found a two month old Tiger '06' and saved another grand off list. The new Tiger will not be like the last one, (the current one !) But the '07' will certainly retail way above the list of £6999 with no goodies on as tempters. Get in quick while you can !! They ain't making anymore !
I am not anti Beemer, enjoyed an 1150GS a few years ago, but value for money only one winner !! :-D
