If you can afford to own a BMW then go for it. Don't listen to JRO. He was anal raped by a BMW once and has had a chip on his shoulder ever since.
The BMW is a better machine, but at twice the cost of a Tiger, you have to ask yourself if it's worth it.
To me it was. I am far more comfotable on the BMW than I was on the Tiger and I am growing to love it more every day.
The only draw back to me is that I could have had two triumphs for the same money.
