OK, so I can't find a K70 tire to put on the back of the Bonnie. I call 3 different dealers and they all recommend this D404 Dunlop as a replacement.....yeah, right! So I gets one. WRONG! It's a "tubeless" tire (no big deal until you go to mount it)! So I fight with this thing for a complete afternoon in the garage with tire irons flying everywhichway in 80' weather & 80% humidity. I get it half on and realize the other half just ain't going on by ME! So I take it to the local Yamaha dealer who finishes the job for $10. I get it home and the fool thing is all "crunched-up" over each of the two "tire holds"! Back to the tire irons to flip the tire bead between the "holds" & the rim. Another day shot! Finally on. The tire looks like a sport bike tire and handles like krap! So where the heck do I get the "proper" rear tire for this thing. A link supplied on this site suggested a place that's supposed to carry K70's but you can't order them! What gives??? So this 15 minute job had my Ride down for a week ! Anybody else have this kind of luck? I guess so. Just read all the recent posts! You're Not Alone !!!
