Yep!

The hole is on the bottom corner of the slide, metric drill bits are hard to find a 7/64 is close to 3mm on the small side... You can also match balance the weight of the slides so they weigh the same.. To do this you can remove material from where the spring goes in on the top of the slide, using a dremel with a sanding drum.. It does not take much to get them perfect...
