Depends on your riding style. I put a set of the Avon 45/46 on my S3 and absolutely love them. The again, I don't really push too hard in the twisties either. For my riding style, they work great and will last lots of miles.
If you're more sport oriented or do trackdays, I've heard the Michelin Pilots are awesome....
