Have always done mineral first and second oil change then synthetic after that. Been told that by lots of mecanics from dirt to road bikes so i think that,s the go. They reckon synthetic staight of the bat will glaze the bore up. I have also been told, that using oil addatives like morey,s etc in gearbox,s that have needle roller bearing,s can make the needle bearing slide around, instead of spinning around like there designed, leaving them with a flat spot.(beware sporster owners if your lerking around)
