It was an easy install and adjusting the ride height takes all of ten minutes. It would require a rear stand and a couple of open end wrenches. You would have to lower the front of course, the stock steering dampner will keep you from lowering it too much but an aftermarket top mounted dampner will take care of that.. GPR is supposed to make one and hopefully the Scotts unit would fit on that same bracket. In all mine is a little over 1" lower than stock and she rides just the same as she did when I got her. The suspension link is a really nice piece of work. I think there are six or seven others now that have them and they really like it as well.
