There is a weakness in the breather system - not only the oil seal but the slinger itself. later models had an improved slinger on a metal rather than plastic spindle. Had the oil seeping into airbox over engine problem myself and replacing the seal and slinger completely solved it, but the price of the parts is a complete rip off - about £60 including a new gasket!
