Hmmm... looks an awful lot like the stock seat, and I imagine that folks who are worried about the abrupt break on the Sargent might prefer this one. My guess is the "hole" in back is where the rear trim piece is on the stocker. Sargent's seat accomodates this - maybe Corbin just left it off for the pictures.
Honestly, though - I was afraid that after Corbin came out with their S3 seat, I'd have a case of buyer's remorse about the Sargent. Lookin' at what they came up with, I don't feel a twinge o' regret.
But then I like the butt-stop, the silver piping, and I like Sargent's cowl-mounting screws a lot better. Others might not.
I'm sure they're both fine items, and anything is better than that stock thing.
