I would think laterally on this.
You are adjusting the cable that was presumably fine before the screen installation?
If that is the case then you are treating the symptom rather than the cause.
What has caused it is fitting the screen.
Ideally, I would look to re routing the cable around the bracket, to give you back the lost slack....Or if that is not feasable modifying the screen mount.
