I've been lurking here for some time and would like to introduce myself to the group. I picked up a '06 S3, in the fast color, three weeks ago. I have about 2k miles on her and haven't been able to wipe that ***** smile off my face since. What an awesome bike. Been riding for about 10 years but never had this much fun.

Yeah the brakes are mushy and a couple other small quirks but - So What - a small price to pay. Overall this bike kicks ass. Tonight I actually just took my brakes off cleaned and freed up the stuck pistons. They feel awesome, curious how long that'll last.

Blah Blah Blah enough about me. Last weekend I went to On One Wheel - Wheelie School. I wanted to improve my Hooliganism and it worked. Really fun weekend. They use older model Speed Triples with a safety mechanism on the back. They set a height, which they increase based upon individual riders abilities, which kills the fuel injector to one cylinder. This kills some power and lets you know you have reached the desired height. Then, if you continue well past this height it will engage the rear brake to bring the rear wheel down. I rode this bike all day on Fri.

On Sat I did their Level 2 class on my own bike. The class was taught by a professional stunt rider, who was an excellent instructor. This day was awesome. It can be for all abilities from simple 1st gear power wheelies to clutching up, shifting gears, stand ups and so fourth. As long as you are comfortable at a level they will teach you more. I definitely recommend the class to others. Feel free to ask me any questions about it.
