TriumphRocker, I would think that Triumph is just stating it's minimum requirements and full synthetic is good for all. The main difference between the 1200-4 and 900-3 lubrication wise may be the heat from the two inner cylinders, oil is in the longer engine, well, longer and oil cooler vs. engine size. Pure speculation on my part tho'.
