my 96 Super III Daytona 886cc(900) called for the Triumph full synth. ....Not the the semi synth. as far as a possible difference...maybe one of the two (900 triple vs 1200 4 cycl.) maybe the 1200 holds more oil? and can operate cooler on a lesser oil..i don't know...maybe?
