Shop diagnosis: bad fan switch. I don’t have a leak, I bubbled over. Coolant is circulating, but fan is not coming on. Now, the pattern of splatter confirms overflow, not hose/clamp as source. Part ordered.
Mechanic says never replaced one of these.
