my new bikes came with oil in them....i thought that it was conventional oil. i heard it was so that the engine could scrub in and seal itself faster, if ya used synthetic then there was the chance that it might not break in like it should. as the synth. stuff produces way less friction, and that first initial couple hundred miles are to seat and mate everything up good...a little heat and friction is needed to do that. does that make sense?
as far as the 5000km mark....heck no...do it right after the first 500-1000 miles. i have always been told after the 500 mile mark....i would ask someone else at that shop or another shop....
