My 05 S3 is just now hitting about 9K and has recently started hesitating at low RPM. What I mean is that if I throttle it up from idle to, say, 4000 RPM it acts as if it's missing. After a second or two it gets over it's trouble and revs on up fine. At that point, if I suddenly let off the throttle it will idle very low for a couple seconds and sometimes die. If I do that a few times I can smell gas.

After the bike is *completely* warmed-up it behaves fine. I first noticed this behavior about a 500 miles ago and it has steadly gotten worse.

So I have some suspicions--fuel filter, airfliter maybe? I love riding, but my motorcycle diagnostic skills are poor, I must admit.
