It would make sense to me that a throttle cable from a Trophy would fit a Sprint & Sprint Executive, & a throttle cable from a Daytona would fit a Sprint Sports. If it's listed as fitting Trophy and Daytona, they probably used the same part across the range. The only question I would have would be whether different throttle cables were used for Mikuni vs. Keihin carbs. Looking at my Trident parts fiche, it shows different carbs beginning at engine #55881. The throttle cable part # changes at the same engine #. I believe that was fairly late in production, & checking the bodywork shows that the '98 style rounded taillight was introduced at VIN 55072.

So, Trident throttle cables were changed at some point in the '98 production. Seems likely that the changes were across the range, so it's clear as mud. Sorry to not be more helpful, you might try the Vintage Sprint forum for a better answer.
