Probably not an issue, but heat?

Weird thing I noticed with the stockers on my '05. I ride all the time, including back and forth to work. On warm days, it would toast my butt. Not bad, and even a welcome sensation when the weather was cooler. I noticed when I switched to the Sargent seat that in some spots, the stock seat pan has holes and spaces in it - you can see the foam. The Sargent seat pan is solid, and I haven't noticed that peculiar warming sensation with it.
